Bully is a Molosser type dog found in India and Pakistan. Bully in its name actually comes from the Punjabi word bohli—meaning heavily wrinkled. This rare breed of dog hails from different parts of subcontinent. Bullies are sometimes referred to as the Sindh Mastiff[1], or the generic rubric of South Asian Mastiff. They are used primarily for sporting purposes as these are still being abused in dogfights in rural parts of Pakistan and Afghanistan. New York Times best-selling author Greg Iles depicted this breed in his 2009 novel The Devil's Punchbowl.
